Personal History
Born in Brooklyn New York and raised in Simi Valley. My life’s work has been centered around business and service to others.
On November 18, 2001 I secured the internet domain name UrbanBright.org. I was considerably younger and had an appetite for risk related to building a nest egg to found a non-profit organization. It was a dream. The dream never left my mind.
In proceeding years more thoughts emerged about how to make a fundamental change in career and life goals. Earning money was important but there was a greater calling. I searched for a livelihood where work was inseparable from service to others.
While researching philanthropy I came across an emerging topic known as Philanthrocapitalism, the word alone resonated on a deep level. This research precipitated a changed in mindset related to career goals. A plan emerged to transition to residential real estate including a commitment to tie each transaction to a local philanthropic organization - in a transparent manner.
I’m pleased to be fully engaged in building Philanthro Capital Realty. A creative for-profit business infused with a philanthropic mission.
I presently reside in Woodland Hills with my wife Estee and our 18-year-old son Austin is in college.
Real Estate
In addition to residential real estate pursuits including investments in rental properties, I have performed leasing services for Landlords and Tenants. Landlord related work included multiple San Fernando Valley properties with an aggregate gross lease-able area of approximately 900,000 sq. ft. Tenant representation services have been provided to regional and national corporations in California, Washington, Oregon, Texas, Massachusetts and New Hampshire. I have held a Real Estate Agent license since 2004 and a Broker's license since 2014.
